On this half-day tour from Manaus, you’ll head to an ecological park to see the Amazon’s famous Victoria regia water plant; have lunch on a floating river restaurant and visit local native craft stores. Cruise down the Rio Negro to the Meeting of the Waters, the location where it meets the Amazon River. Be awed by this natural phenomenon, where the Rio Negro’s black waters and the Amazon’s muddy waters flow separately for a few miles.
Cruise the Negro River on this half-day tour with guide. Enjoy a delicious lunch on a floating restaurant. See the beauty of the area from the water and during a walk in the forest.
Leaving from the floating dock, cruise down the Rio Negro and pass by the busy harbor of Manaus where large ships load and unload as well as the Educandos hillside with wooden houses built on stilts, while watching the daily life of the people who live on the riverside. Lunch included. After the canoe ride, the boat will sail a quiet lake. Our native guide will teach the ways to catch Amazonian fish: delicious Tucunaré, Jaraquí or a voracious Piranhas. By night fall dinner will be served on the floating restaurant and the lucky fisherman will taste his own fish.
